Ismael Kalbfleisch
Mr. Kalbfleisch graduated from Miami Dade College in 2010 with an Associate of Science degree for Physical Therapist Assistant and an Associate of Arts degree. He went on to Nova Southeastern University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science in 2016 and earned an MBA from Barry University.
Mr. Kalbfleisch’s wealth of physical therapy experience dates back to age 13, when he began receiving it as a patient due to numerous wrist and ankle injuries he suffered through years of gymnastics, beginning at age 4 and remaining competitive nationally till age 16. Mr. Kalbfleisch continued developing his athletic prowess by playing intermural sports such as football, basketball, and baseball. At age 20 Mr. Kalbfleisch enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after witnessing 9/11. He served in two tours culminating in a year’s worth of deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Jordan between 2003 and 2004. Upon reaching the end of his enlistment and having served honorably in war, he returned to Miami, Fla. to begin his journey towards opening a physical therapy practice where he would be able help people achieve and overcome injury and hardship.
Mr. Kalbfleisch has extensive knowledge in fitness and rehabilitation, having worked with athletes at the professional level (NFL, MLB & NBA) as well as some of the top collegiate athletes for the first three (3) years of having become a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. He is specialized in the application of manual techniques for sports injuries of all kinds including Golf, one of the sports he enjoys practicing. Formal education and nearly 20 years of hands-on experience has enabled him to help many athletes return to their respective sports and bring that same level of intensity and knowledge in his work with all his patients today. Mr. Kalbfleisch has also worked in specialized neuro and vestibular settings and has become a specialist in spine rehab pre- and post-surgery as well as with non-surgical conditions. Mr. Kalbfleisch remains active exercising and playing golf, in which he has become a guru when it comes to rehabilitating injuries caused by this sport.
